Apeejay School of Management organized 3rd Conference on Emerging Trends in HR on 26 May 2017. Dr Amit Sareen, Officiating Director,
ASM, welcomed the guests. Prof Ashok Ogra, Director, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, talked about how technological disruptions are affecting society, business and economy while giving conference perspectives. Ms Chaitali Mukherjee, Partner, PwC, talked about man-machine conundrum and how we are headed in an automated world in terms of HR processes.
Faculty members, researchers and practicing managers presented papers on various themes such as automation, leadership, employee engagement, gender issues, etc. during the technical session chaired by Dr Seema Gupta (Deshbandhu College, DU) and Dr Rajeshwari Malik (Maharaja Surajmal Institute). Dr Irameet Kaur (ITM University), Prof Priyanka Goel (JIMS) and Dr Chhaya Wadhwa (ASM) served as discussants during the technical session. Dr Srirang Jha, Head, HR Area, ASM proposed a vote of thanks. Deepak Mohan and Vriti Banga coordinated the event.
