The 6th Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan will held on 24th-25th March

11th March, 2012. The meeting of Executive committee of Purvanchal Ekta Manch was conducted at Taste on Choice restaurant, Sector-7, Dwarka in connection with 6th Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan. The meeting was presided under the Presidentship of Sh.Shivji Singh. Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh-Convener of the Manch informed parichay that more than twenty five members of the manch attended the said meeting. During the meeting, several important discussions related to 6th Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan were discussed. The members were given different responsibilities to make this upcoming mega event more successful. The 6th Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan will held on 24th & 25th March,2012 at Dada Dev Mela Ground, Sector 8, Dwarka, New Delhi. Two days programme will be organized by Purvanchal Ekta Manch. 

“Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan” is an attempt to promote and spread the spirit of Bhojpuri community in rapidly changing social and political scenario. It’s an initiative to provide a common platform to leaders, thinkers, social workers and above all common people as a whole. This year the Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan is entering into its 6th edition and the organizers are quite exciting and hopeful of bringing about a meaningful difference at both individual & community level. In last 5 years of its journey, the Sammellan has come a long way in creating a distinct identity for Bhojpuri language where it not only joins the mainstream socio-political scenario but also becomes the harbinger of change for the community and nation as a whole.

With every passing year the popularity of the sammellan has grown manifold. Today the event is seen as a celebration of the community where people from all parts of the country participate in a big way. Last year Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammellan witnessed a gathering of more than 1,00,000(one lakh approx.) people in two days of events. Besides this, over 100 dignitaries and celebrities also graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
