Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka hosted 8th All India Inter-Unit Bal Bharati Sports Meet 2014 recently. The mega sports soiree brought together 1500 students from 18 branches across the country. An endeavour of CES Sports Council, the Meet aimed at imbibing spirit of sports and discipline among young sports enthusiasts.The grand Opening and Closing Ceremonies were graced by Mr. L.R. Channa, President, Child Education Society and Chairman, Sports Council, luminaries from Board of Management and Principals from all units. The students were enthused by the presence of renowned sports personalities like Ashish Nehra, Zafar Iqbal, Surinder Khanna, Asha Agarwal and Parul Goswami as prime guests. Spectators were captivated by the resilience and élan of contingents during March Past, Band performance and Oath taking.The exhibition and cultural items exuberated all with bright colours, passion and liveliness of sports. Mr Channa and Mrs Suruchi Gandhi, Principal inspired the students for fair play, camaraderie and perseverance to carry forward the legacy of true sportsmanship for the betterment of individuals and the country.
