The National Book Trust India’s Western Regional Office in Mumbai organised a Book Exhibition about books on Mahatma Gandhi at Daman, to coincide with the 150th anniversary celebrations. The simple and lucid style of writing, low cost and availability of titles in local languages make these books popular among students, teachers and locals alike. The titles include illustrations on Mahatma Gandhi’s life, Biography, his contribution and viewpoints on various aspects of Indian society. A set of 3 books may cost less than Rs.100. Books are available for sales from NBT’s Regional Office in Mumbai and at exhibitions in Daman, Silvassa and Gujarat. Books can also be purchased from online webstore of NBT and from Amazon webstore of National Book Trust India as well.
