Hetauda Academy marked the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with devotion, cultural vibrance, and festive spirit on its campus today. The celebration witnessed active participation of students, teachers, and parents, who came together to honor the birth of Lord Krishna, symbolizing love, righteousness, and wisdom.
The event began with the offering of prayers and bhajans dedicated to Lord Krishna, creating a spiritual atmosphere across the premises. Students from different grades showcased their talents through dance performances, skits depicting episodes from Krishna’s childhood, and melodious devotional songs.
One of the highlights of the program was the traditional Matki Phod (pot-breaking) event, which brought immense excitement among students and conveyed the playful essence of Krishna’s childhood. Little children dressed as Radha-Krishna captivated everyone with their charming presence.
The celebration concluded with a message of peace, unity, and cultural harmony, followed by the distribution of prasadam to all attendees. The event not only spread festive joy but also reinforced the importance of cultural traditions in holistic education.
