Once again it was a moment of pride and elation for NKBPS Dwarka as the school celebrated its Annual Day on 23 Nov 2013 amidst much pomp and splendor. It was a cultural extravaganza with strokes of rhythm and ragas. NKBPS, Dwarka has a tradition of celebrating its Annual Day based on some insightful and thought provoking theme. So this year school chose the scintillating and solemn theme of ‘Chakra Ki Gaatha’.
Presence of dignitaries, Smt. Pushpa Devi Bagrodia Ji, Chairperson of the school, the management- Mr. K.K. Dhanuka, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Mr. Mahinder Agarwal, Director of the school- Mr. S.K. Bhattacharya, Mr. P. Kumar and Master Raghav Bagrodia with the Chief Guest of the occasion, Mr. Amit Singla, Director of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Guest of Honour Mr. Ashish Sareen from Siemens Ltd. Added grace and elan to the event. Event commenced with invoking blessings from Almighty by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chairperson of the school Smt. Pushpa Devi Bagrodia Ji. Prize Distribution followed by the release of the school magazine ‘Oasis’ gave further momentum to the event. School Annual Report presented by the Principal of the school, Dr. (Mrs.) Rajee N. Kumar was the highlight of the event, where she began her report by fondly remembering and restating the vision of Founder Chairman of the school, Late Shri N.K. Bagrodia Ji. Afterwards with great pride she shared with the audience the glorious milestones achieved by the school in the academic session 2013-2-14. She also categorically emphasized her resplendent vision for the school in the years to come.
This was followed by the cultural event which amalgamated in itself the wide spectrum of music and mudras. Sur Sangam, the school orchestra bemused and enthralled the guests as well as the spectators with its serenity. This show touched the chord of all human heart with the vibrant message of communal harmony, which it instilled in us through musical rendition.
Event reached to its crux with the musical ballet ‘Chakra Ki Gaatha’ which very beautifully showcased that how Chakra-the wheel has become pivotal to our life and existence and the way it has acquired different forms and shape in the creative hands of mankind and brought in a revolution in mankind and became part and parcel of our lives.
Saga of Chakra beautifully illustrated vital importance of different chakras like ‘Karma Chakra’, Rashi Chakras and Jeevan Chakras etc. so this musical ballet brought home the forgotten fact of life that chakra symbolizes mobility, movement and progress of mankind. Then the event culminated with Vote of Thanks by Mr. P. Kumar from school management. So once again NKBPS Dwarka flushed with confidence, pride, success and glory celebrated its Annual Day with much fanfare.
