An educational trip to the National Museum was organized

An educational trip to the National Museum was organized for the students of class V on August 23, 2017. It provided them rich understanding of the Indian history, antique art and artifacts. The trip had been a very informative experience as the students learnt about the life during various dynasties i.e.Mauryas, Shungas , Satvahanas etc. Children were amazed to see various exhibits including rare relics from the Harappan Civilisation to Buddha’s 4th- 5 th century BC effects. These objects stimulated, among the students, a sense of devotion, dedication and love for their culture.

Then students also got a chance to visit ‘ Coins Gallery’ exhibiting the initial cowries to the credit cards being used these days. The students were enthralled to witness the entire history of Indian coinage. The guided tour took one and all through various other galleries presenting the vibrancy of human civilization in India at par with the contemporary civilizations. The educative experience filled the pupils with a vast knowledge of their rich heritage.
