The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka celebrated their tenth Annual Day Function on 23rd November, at their school premises. The Chief Guest was Lt. Gen. Sukhdeep Sangwan,Director General- Assam Rifles. The Guest of Honour was Ms Sara Larsson, General Manager of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi.
The Annual Report read out by the Principal, Mrs Archana Narain, highlighted the achievements of the school in all spheres of academics and curricular activities. The Chief Guest, Lt. Gen. Sukhdeep Sangwan gave away awards to the prize winners. .The Chief Guest, who addressed the gathering spoke emotionally of the importance of ‘SARHAD”, which was also the theme of the ballet presented by the senior school students, titled, ‘SARHAD-EK LAKEER – SOCH KI “. The Guest of Honour, Ms Sara Larsson released the school newsletter, ESSENCE.
The Scintillating and foot tapping medley of old Bollywood songs presented by the junior students transported the audience to the golden era of cinema. The audience was spell bound by the soul stirring dance drama, ‘Sarhad, ek Lakeer Soch Ki’, presented by the senior wing which encapsulated universal brotherhood and that all are equal.
