The endowed and gifted students of class VI-VIII at JM International School stunned all with their flair and splendid performances in their annual theater fest- AURA.
Ms. AnuradhaGovind, the Principal, welcomed the parents and conferred theachievements of the school after the customary lamp lighting ceremony. This was followed by an address by Mr. Yogesh Gupta, the Director of the school.
The audience witnessed a plethora of artistic performances including a choir presentation on RaagDarbariKanhada, an instrumental concoction, solo song performances, a mime act on cleanliness, and a synthesis of Mohiniyattam and Bharatnatyam by the gifted students of the school.
Class VII students left the spectators astounded through their musical ‘Virtues are forever’, avariation of the celebrated fairytale Cinderella, reaffirming the belief that good triumphs over evil. ‘Mela’, an adaptation of MunshiPremchand’sIdgah, was also presented by students of grade VIIIth, whose power packed performance left all spell bound.
The occasion was graced by the revered guests of honour, which included Mr. AbhijeetGanguly, Mr. Aseem Trivedi and Mr. NihalParashar. The guests commended the surfeit of talent and zest exhibited by the students while appreciating the school’s efforts towards the holistic development of its students’ personalities.
