Young sports stars of N.K.Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka have brought laurels to school at 62nd National School Games 2016-17. 34 dynamic students participated in the SGFI Games brought a proud moment for the school by representing Delhi state. The students were selected in different sports events for various categories and went through arduous training sessions under the guidance of the ingenious sports coaches.The games were held in different states .
The students showcased their acumen in a commendable manner by securing positions and winning medals in various sports events. Jeegyasa Sehrawat of class IX and Akshit Sahu of class IX won gold medals in Throwball . Rahul Tewatia of class X won silver medal in Hockey. Tanishq Gaur proved his talent in Mini Golf event by winning silver medal. Aastha Kalia of class X won silver in Thang-Ta. Dushyant of class XI in Taekwondo ,Aman Tomar of class VI in Fencing and Paras Bhalla of class VIII in Badminton won accolades by winning Bronze medals in their respective events.
The Principal of the school Dr. Rajee N. Kumar applauded the students for their exemplary performances and the Sports instructors Mr. Parveen Kumar, Mr. Manoj Kumar and Mr. Raju for their relentless efforts in rendering a proper training to all the participants.
