On the occasion of Maharshi Valmiki Bhagwan Prakatotsav, a programme was held in Usmanpur Area of Seelampur Assembly Constituency. This programme was organised on behalf of the Head of Valmiki Samaj Shri Mohini Chandel in which BJP Pradesh President and North East Delhi MP Shri Manoj Tiwari participated as the Chief Guest. In addition to Shri Tiwari, former Mayor Smt. Satya Sharma, Councilor Smt. Durgesh Tiwari, Mandal General Secretary Shri Jitender Chhajlana, Mandal President Shri Devender Chaudhary, OBC Morcha District President Shri Harender Chaudhary, Shri Suryakant Tiwari, Shri Chandrapal Chandel alongwith other leaders were present in the programme.
After the programme, Shri Manoj Tiwari went to Valmiki Mandir and worshipped Maharshi Valmiki Bhagwan.
Addressing hundreds of people of this community on this occasion, Shri Manoj Tiwari said that Maharashi Valmiki composed an epic Ramayan which defined Maryada, Truth, Love, duty of Brother, Mother and Servant. We can learn many things from the life of Maharshi Valmiki. He changed his path of life after being inspired by an incident and consequently he composed the epic Ramayan which became the religious epic of Hindus.
Shri Tiwari said that every aspect of the life of Bhagwan Valmiki teaches us how to live an ideal life and how can we change the entire society into a powerful society and be able to protect our culture. The ideal of Antyodaya remain unfulfilled till our society breaks the chain of evil, customs and tradition, discrimination, casteism etc. We should follow the path of Maharshi Valmiki and create social harmony in entire Delhi.
