Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) along with Humsafar, an app-based doorstep diesel delivery service has begun doorstep delivery of diesel for industrial and bulk customers in Faridabad and adjoining areas,
The BPCL company has started delivery of the fuel from Auto Grit, a BPCL fuel pump on Delhi-Badarpur border.The service was launched by Mr Kshitij Midha, Territory manager retail , BPCL along with Mr Nishit Goyal of Humsafar and Mr M M Sharma of Autogrit Fuel Pump,
According to BPCL, this service will benefit housing societies, malls, hospitals, banks, large transporters and construction sites, farmers, heavy equipment, malls, mobile towers, education institutes along with small and big industries. The customers can book diesel through the Fuelkart or the humsafar app, and have it delivered to a given location.
The fuel-delivery vehicle comes fitted with a mobile dispenser and fuel tank. This service aims to ensure a hassle-free supply of the fuel directly to end-users and also avoid unnecessary fuel spillage, unsafe handling, and/or pilferage.
“Presently, we are providing this facility to the industrial need like malls, hospitals, stationary heavy equipment, small and heavy manufacturing industries .BPCL has at present Eight Bowser (door-to-door delivery vehicle) the safety aspect is taken care of. Furthermore, the quality and quantity are also assured as we have fuel which will be dispensed assuring the correct quantity and right quantity directly from BPCL Pump. Bowser has a geofencing system which ensures that fuel will be delivered only at ordered locations. Hence, no other fuel can be added or pilfered in between transportation.. “BPCL plans to add Six more diesel at doorstep units by the end of this year 2021” Said Kshitij Midha,, Territory manager, retail, BPCL
“Faridabad, the industrial hub of Haryana famous for henna production from the agricultural sector, while tractors, motorcycles, switch gears, refrigerators, shoes, tyres and garments constitute its primary industrial products. .Humsafar, diesel at doorstep service will provide diesel to these industries and other mass consumption users through the PESO approved Bowsers (delivery vehicles) with 3000 to 6000 litres capacity then fuels up at the station and arrives at the location within eight hours. With mobile fuel dispensers, the diesel is safely transferred at the destination with zero wastage and spillage. The trucks are also enabled with geo-fencing technology that allows users to track their movement.” Said Mr Nishit Goel, Founder Director of Humsafar.
“Fuel dispenser equipped with fire extinguishers, safety cones and other things to demarcate the delivery area. Also, the customer gets an SMS alert before their order reaches them. The customer can complete the payment using cash or cashless methods. The payment receipt is generated accordingly.” Said Mr Goel.
“The areas that will be served in Faridabad will include Tigaon, Ballabgarh, Prithla, Faridabad NIT , Badhkal and bordering badarpur area” said Mr Goel .
