BJP EAST DELHI MP AND FORMER CRICKETER GAUTAM GAMBHIR FLAG’S OFF RALLY AGAINST USE OF PLASTIC

About 2,500 , members of Resident Welfare Associations , eminent citizens, NGO’s  and school students took part  in a mega awareness rally organised being organised by Men’s Health Society, an NGO working for health awareness and Goyal Hospital and Urology Centre on September 26 in Krishna Nagar, East Delhi.

Former Cricketer and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) while flagging off the rally said “ We shun use of plastic bags at my home also and expect Delhiites to stop use of  single use plastic . Children and youth have main role to play to stop use of plastic bags”

“This rally will also help in  spreading the prime minister’s social messages related to Swachh Bharat and shunning single-use plastic” Mr Gambhir  added

“The main aim of the rally was flagged off by eminent former cricketer and Member of Parliament from  East Delhi, Gautam Gambhir  was to sensitise people against the use of one-time-use plastic items.” said Dr Anil Goyal, head of Goyal Hospital and in charge of BJP’s Delhi health branch, He  is the  main organiser of the rally .

” During the rally participants raised slogans and carry placards against the usage of one-time-use plastic items. The students  also enacted a street play  with innovative slogans discouraging the use of plastic bags.” said Dr Anil Goyal.

 “The cloth bags and T shirts with message against use of plastic were distributed to public reroute the rally who are carrying plastic bags . The participant’s also took an oath against use pf plastic ” said Dr Goyal
