Book Festival in Gurgaon


On the occasion of the World Book & Copyright Day, National Book Trust, India in association with Fortis Memorial Research Institute is organizing Gurgaon Book Festival at the Fortis Memorial Research Institute, opposite HUDA City Centre Metro Station, Sector 44, Gurgaon from 20 to 23 April 2012.

Shri Gurcharan Das, eminent author will inaugurate the book festival on 20 April 2012 at 6.00 pm.
This four-day extravaganza will be a treat for booklovers as several literary programmes will also be held which include a panel discussion on Reading Books in the Digital Age on 21 April 2012 at 5.00 pm, an interaction with Ms Advaita Kala, noted novelist and film writer on 22 April 2012 at 11.30 am and a creative writing workshop with Shri Sachin, noted author on 23 April 2012 at 11:00 am.

Nearly 35 renowned publishers will display a wide range of books in over 45 stalls during the festival from 11.00 am to 8.00 pm. Authors, litterateurs and book lovers are cordially invited to grace the occasion.
