After celebrating Environment Week from 31st May 2014 to 7th June 2014 by carrying various activities directly related to environment, SDKS continues to carry lot of work on ongoing basis in one way or the other to keep the surroundings clean. During the morning walk, public observed that lot of filth / waste material was lying all sides within the park behind Green Valley Apartments, Sector -22, Dwarka. Instead of waiting for any agency to pick up the garbage, SDKS took the responsibility on their shoulders to do so. Accordingly, with due planning & material, on the morning of Sunday, the 29 th June, 2014 members of Sanstha spent over 2 hrs in picking up the entire waste from the park, collected in big 18 black garbage bags & instantly handed over to the rag picker for onward disposal.
