Dwarka Forum Governing Body Meeting was held with Shri S. P. Bhardwaj, Assistant Divisional Officer and his team of Delhi Fire Service (Dwarka) recently at his Office at Fire Station, Sector-6, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Dwarka Forum handed over a letter to Assistant Divisional Officer on various Fire Services related issues pertaining to the entire Dwarka Sub City.
DF discussed the infrastructure and other facilities available in Fire Station, Sector -6, Dwarka and also discussed the current status of proposed two Fire stations in Sector-3 and Sector-20, Dwarka, New Delhi. Dwarka Forum discussed number of issues pertaining to safety of life and property of Dwarka residents. DF discussed the guidelines for grant of fire safety certificates particularly to high rise society buildings and Markets. We also discussed the various methods of fire prevention.
DF requested Assistant Divisional Officer for awareness camps on fire fighting systems in various Societies and DDA Pockets. It was decided that Dwarka Forum Governing Body Members will soon meet the Director, Delhi Fire Service. It was also decided that DF in association with some CGHSs / RWA will arrange awareness camps in Dwarka Sub City.
ADO (Dwarka) took a note of all the points that emanated from the discussions and assure to take all possible steps to save the life and property of residents. Meeting was conducted in good atmosphere and ended with vote of thanks to the chair. The meeting was attended by Shri Sushil Kumar – President, Shri Arvinder Singh Chhatwal- General Secretary, Shri P. Menon- Treasurer and Shri Prem Bihari Mishra- Executive Member.
