Dwarka Forum Governing Body Meeting was held with South Delhi Municipal Corporation’s Leader of the House Ms Kamaljeet Sehrawat on Saturday, the 3rd August, 2019 at her residence in Dwarka, New Delhi.
Dwarka Forum discussed and briefed her about water logging particularly during rainy season in several parts of Dwarka Sub City and delay in collection of garbage from some areas, even from the DHALAO’s. DF brought to her notice the dumping of garbage in and around open Palam drain particularly adjoining to some Societies of Sector -11, Dwarka. Further the matter regarding Solid Waste Management particularly segregation and composting was discussed in details. DWARKA FORUM brought to her notice regarding Market (CSC) plot of Block -A, Sector-8 Dwarka under the possession of SDMC for quite long time. Dwarka Forum also requested Ms Sehrawat for appointment of SDMC’s NODLE OFFICER exclusively for DWARKA Sub City.
DWARKA FORUM requested Ms Sehrawat to arrange and coordinate a JOINT MEETING with SDMC and DDA to discuss and sort out the common issues related to both the departments.
It was also decided that Dwarka Forum will submit her the list of some important issues of Dwarka Sub City relating to South Delhi Municipal Corporation on priority. The meeting was attended by Shri Sushil Kumar – President, Shri Sunil Sarin – Vice President, Shri Arvinder Singh Chhatwal – General Secretary, Shri P. Menon – Treasurer and Shri P. B. Mishra – Executive Member. Ms Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Leader of the House, SDMC took a note of all points, which came us during discussions. The meeting was conducted in very good atmosphere and Leader of the House, SDMC assured to take all possible steps to make citizens life more comfortable.
