Dwarka Forum organised Police – Public Meeting (JAN SAMVAD) on Saturday at Gokul Garden, Sector -7, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Shri Anto Alphonse (IPS), DCP (Dwarka District) was Chief Guest. Shri Rajender Singh, ACP (Dwarka) and Shri Vijay Pal Tomer, ACP (Traffic), Shri Sanjay Kundu, SHO (Dwarka North), Shri Ram Niwas, SHO (Dwarka South), Shri Santan Singh, SHO (P.S. Sector -23) and Ms Archana Andley, Traffic Inspector (Dwarka) were Guests of Honour.
Besides Members of Dwarka Forum, large number of representatives of various CGHSs / RWAs/ Market Associations/ Senior Citizens/Residents of Dwarka Sub City attended the meeting. Citizens raised several issues ranging from Open drinking particularly in parks, encroachments on footpaths particularly in markets, installation of CCTV Cameras particularly at Dark Spot areas, parking of vehicle, chain/purse snatching cases, traffic jam problems etc.
DCP and his team assured to take all possible steps to make citizens life more comfortable. The Governing Body Members of Dwarka Forum presented momentoes to the Guests. The meeting was conducted in very good atmosphere and ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
