DWARKA PROGRESSIVE CLUB- one more mile to achieve

“A clean Dwarka is our goal”— views expressed by Ms. Urmil Sharma, Chairperson of the Club in a meeting of DWARKA PROGRESSIVE CLUB held on 14h of December,2016 at Roshan Garden, Najafgrah New Delhi . She said “we want to focus and transform this work as ‘KRANTI’ It is our aim to segregate garbage in two or more ways and work for the cleanliness of our Dwarka Sub- city.. She referred that our PM Mr. Narendra Modi launched the “Swachh Bharat Mission” in New Delhi on 2nd October 2014 as a national movement. 

About 35 members of the Club attended the meeting. She further said that we all must pay and contribute in this directions to make our goal of “Garbage Management” as “success”. A sense of responsibility evoked amongst the members present in the meeting They showed their willingness and their active participation in the mission of ‘KRANTI’ 
The members offered their various suggestions like involvement of schools and hospitals, discussions with the Management Committee of the societies in Dwarka, to prepare a blue print giving aims and objectives, to offer “best society award”, to create awareness amongst “maids” working in the societies, to organize monthly meetings to review the work and so on. She requested the members to spread the message by urging people through words & action. Later on we may also take up the work to cleanliness drive to clean River Ganga.
