Total shops around 55. Allotted in 2003.

Very convenient shopping Centre for the surrounding societies. Every type of shop for daily needs including vegetable, mother dairy, mobile, Aata Chakki, stationary, post office, drycleaner, courier, dentist, electric shop, veg and non-veg food shops and so on.

PROBLEMS
Ajay Kumar of Sri Nath Communication told that no white wash or any maintenance by DDA since allotment. Market gives dirty look.

No Police Picket at wine shop, cases of open drinking in the evening and obscene remarks on ladies are usual. Some ladies residing in nearby societies told that they do not go to the market alone after sun-set due to this.

About a year ago, few cops were put on duty in the evening on the complaint at Police-Public meet and to the ACP but removed the few months ago. Now, occasional visits by patrolling police.

All the shopkeepers complain about inadequate lights in the market.

Four fixed flower pots at both entrances and one very small park at the centre of the market is not maintained. No visit by any gardener.
Wild grass has grown around the side facing Rudra Society. No cleanliness of the open area of this side. Area near electric sub-station is being utilized as urinal and give foul smell. Road at entry near mother dairy is in bad condition, need carpeting.

DEMANDS
Proper light at the Centre of the market and at the entry near mother dairy.
A survey for the necessity of CCTV Cameras in the market is required.
Regular posting of constable in the evening near wine shop to stop open drinking and to maintain decorum.

Install CCTV camera on wine shop to keep a watch on open drinking in nearby area of the shop, as per Delhi Govt. scheme.

A shopkeeper told that they met around 20th January with DDA officials for their demands. Sewer was cleaned after that.

Undertake maintenance and white wash, occasional visit by gardener to look after four big permanent flower pots at the entries of market and in the small park. Road on the entry near mother dairy should be re-carpeted.

Vacant plots on south side facing Rudra Society and school side should be levelled as soil (‘mitti) has been put there recently.
