ECO EXPO at N.K.Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka

An Exhibition on Waste Management was organized in the premises of NKBPS, Junior Wing, Dwarka where the principles of 3 R’s- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle were highlighted in the form of Art & Craft, Project Display. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. S. C. Sharma , Consultant Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the presence of the Chairperson of N K Bagrodia Group of Schools Shrimati Pushpa Devi Bagrodia Ji and other eminent members of the Managing Committee.

The exhibition was thrown open for the parents. Everyone present commended the cause and the display in its totality. On display were beautiful artifacts made out of waste such as old bangles, newspapers, bottles, used foils, ice cream spoons, shells of dry fruits, old T-shirts were designed into new, toffee wrappers, used socks, jewelery out of used materials, paper Mache, pencil/color shavings, rakhis out of used sponge etc., file folders decorated with waste material, broken tea cups decorated and an entire range of projects were on display. The highlight of the exhibition was Ganesha made out of newspaper and life size camel and an elephant made out of waste material.

Few days earlier, Dutch Delegates visited the Eco Expo and were totally overwhelmed by the display and gave encouraging anecdotes. The art & craft material as well as the depictions of ‘My School’, ‘Means of Transport’, ‘A Jungle Scene’, ‘Aquarium’ and ‘Festivals’ were beautifully made out of various waste materials. It was a day of learning and an eye opener for everyone who visited the Exhibition and commended the hard work done by the students and teachers. Overwhelming appreciation and valuable comments were given by all.
