Spreading the message of sharing and caring to celebrate the joyous festival of Christmas,the students from The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka presented a school assembly on December 24,2018.
The assembly highlighted the importance of Christmas in our lives and aimed at giving the message of religious harmony and brotherhood. The students from primary wing enacted a skit on the birth of Lord Jesus, the nativity scene and how it brought Joy to the World. A foot tapping dance performance on popular Christmas carols added a befitting musical treat.
Another highlight of the day was Founder’s Day celebration which is observed every year on 22nd of December. The students were overwhelmed as they shared on stage the remarkable journey about the past glories of the school. They also pledged to continue the saga of excellence thereby earning more laurels in the years to come.
The School Principal Ms. Archana Narain addressed the assembly and reminded learners of the values of ‘Sharing and Caring’ and ‘Joy of Giving.’ She further asked the young learners to welcome the upcoming year with new hopes and resolutions so as to improve and excel further in the current academic session. The assembly concluded with the rendition of National Anthem.
