First Artemis Multi Specialty Centre in Dwarka inaugurated

Artemis Health Institute (AHI), Gurgaon,
today marked its footprints in Delhi with the launch of its first Multi Specialty Centre in Dwarka. At this centre, Artemis will offer an entire spectrum of services from out patient (OPD) and consultations with experts from various specialties, to a pathology lab, a 24-hour pharmacy & ambulance services. Shri Mahabal Mishra, MP, West Delhi was the Chief Guest at the launch of the Artemis Medical Centre. Established in late 2007, Artemis Health Institute is a multi-specialty health care facility based in Gurgaon, India. Cancer is one of the 3 super specialties along with Cardiothoracic and Orthopaedics. Artemis is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PTL Enterprises, promoted by Onkar S Kanwar and listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

 Speaking to DwarkaParichay.com, Tapan Mitra, CEO, Artemis Health Institute, said “With a population of over a million, Dwarka is considered to be one of the largest residential areas in the whole of Asia; and still, this sub-city lacks proper medical infrastructure. This is the first of our Artemis Multi Specialty Centres, which we plan to open in the next few months to cater to the medical needs of large residential clusters in and around the National Capital Region of Delhi, and to provide them with quality services and treatment.”
Apart from the Specialty OPDs available 6 days a week, super specialists from various fields like Oncology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Reproductive Medicine, Neurology, Nephrology/ Urology will be available for consultation on different days of the week. A 24-hour ambulance service will help in providing quick medical aid in emergency situations.

To do that we are ensuring that our super specialty OPDs take place between 5 and 8 pm. This enables them to come in after work and saves them precious travel time.”

 To begin the initiative, till July 31, 2011, the Artemis Multi Specialty Centre in Dwarka will undertake free consultations of all patients, along with a 15% discount on investigations.
