Paramount International School, Sector-23, Dwarka bid farewell to its first batch of class XII , on Saturday, 2nd Feb’13. The event named ‘Hasta La Vista’ was organized and hosted by the students of class XI. The entire building was decked up in the resplendent colour theme of white and red.
The students of class XII were accorded a grand traditional welcome as they were ushered into the school on the foot tapping beats of ‘Dhol’, under the shower of rose petals. The beautiful rangoli, picture collage of class XII students with graffiti and the hall of fame signature banner put up at the reception area won great appreciation from the students.
The lead item of the day was a power packed performance by Rajat of class XI who mesmerized the audience with his breathtaking dance performance. This was followed by a series of high voltage dance medleys presented by Rajat, Abhishek, Sayansh, Vikrant, Mohit, Aneesha, Archana, Geetanjali and Komal. These immaculate & flawless dance performances won thunderous applause from the audience. A mind blowing humourous skit- Surinder Airlines, presented by Nitin, Gaurav, Piyush, Advait, Puneet, Sahil, and Damanjeet made the audience go into peals of laughter.
The Humour Ka Tadka by Nitin was also a super Duper Hit!!
The crowning of the first Ms. And Mr. Paramount ,skillfully anchored and executed by Divya and Hardik ,was no less than a professional beauty pageant. Ms. Ananya Moitra and Mr. Sagar Sehrawat bagged the coveted title of Ms. And Mr. Paramount respectively. Many other students won different category awards like Mr. Clean ‘n’ Clear, Ms. Photogenic etc. An interesting game ‘Claim your stake’, hosted by the teachers, created ripples of laughter amongst the students. A befitting song sung by the Gurus (teachers) of Paramount rent an air of nostalgia in the atmosphere.
The most awaited moment of the day- The Titles Ceremony was an instant hit amongst the audience.
In the testimony giving ceremony, the students of class XII extended their sincere gratitude to Mrs. R.L. Saroha (M.D.) for her praiseworthy mentorship combined with her tireless zest unmatched energy in implementing innovative teaching strategies.They also thanked the teachers for their unconditional and tireless efforts in making the teaching learning process interesting and easier.
In her memorable and motivational speech Mrs. R.L. Saroha (M.D.) prophesied an unflinching faith in her students. She stated that the values inculcated by the school had made the students strong, smart, kind, noble and above all Humane. She wished them good luck for their Board Exams and all other future endeavours. The students accorded a standing ovation to her speech as a mark of their reverence towards her.
The School Co-ordinator, Ms. Jaspreet Kaur proposed the vote of thanks and congratulated the students of class XI for their wonderful performances and efforts. She made a special mention of the flawless anchoring by the students who had created different Radio Stations for their compering.
Thereafter all the students and the teachers shared some special PARA MOMENTS by hitting the dance floor on the groovy music of the DJ. After all the excitement and exhilaration, a lavish and tantalizing buffet was what everyone enjoyed thoroughly!!
Finally, it was time to say Adios. The students of class XII bid a happy cum tearful goodbye to the school carrying a souvenir in their hands and a bagful of priceless memories in their hearts.
