New Delhi, 1st April, 2025 – The Income Tax Sports and Recreation Club (ITS&RC) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its athletes at the Senior Nationals Karate Championship 2025, held at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, from March 26th to 29th.
Aniket Gupta showcased his exceptional talent by securing Gold and Silver medals, marking his 42nd national championship medal and an impressive 18th consecutive year of winning medals. Deepika Dhiman also excelled, winning two Silver and one Bronze, bringing her total tally to 30 medals in national championships over 15 years.
The championship saw participation from 31 KIO-affiliated states and teams from SSCB, ITBP, and Assam Rifles. (ITS&RC) extend gratitude to the Government of Telangana, Telangana Sports Council, and KIO officials for their support in organizing this grand event.
Adding to the excitement, Aniket and Deepika have been selected to represent India at the Senior Asian Karate Championship 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, next month in May.
