“The Talk Room” an Educational-cum-Practical platform for children initiated the unique concept of organizing International Children’s Summit 2020 from today on online platform. The credit goes non-other than Mrs. Swarleen Kaur who is an Author Founder of “The Talk Room” motivational speaker, public speaker, and personality development coach. She has spent more than two decades inspiring & encouraging people to learn, grow, and never give up in life. When Dwarka Parichay asked her from where she got the idea to conduct such summit.
Mrs. Swarleen Kaur replied with full confidence that the idea of doing a six day summit came into her mind when one day during the class her students were discussing how they missed their school fetes and fests these days,so she thought why not create a platform for them where they could feel like they were back in school. Rest is the history. Further she added that the main objective of this summit, is, to bring back the lost smiles, to recreate their lost energies, to make them understand that life never stops, if one door is closed the second will open up for sure. You just have to find that door in the maze. Above all to make them realise how important communication skills are.

International Children’s Summit 2020 is being organised by Dehradun based Author-Educationist Mrs. Swarleen Kaur who is also the founder of The Talk Room. Talk Room came into existence in June 2020, with the principal objective of engaging people in covid times to feel elated and spirited, intellectually and spiritually. In the last five months, The Talk Room successfully conducted more than 200 workshops, seminars, talk shows, story-telling sessions and live conversations with achievers and pure hearted people.
Mrs. Swarleen Kaur herself is a seasoned teacher and an inspiring soul. Emboldened by wide spread response and popularity, Talk Room came with a unique concept of bringing children around the world to show their talent in varied academic and personality traits under the watchful eyes of experts. The six days event got inaugurated by former Indian Pace bowler Javagal Srinath on 2nd November, through virtual conference right from Dubai with a word of advise and blessings. Even the gracious presence of Veteran Bollywood Actress Mausami Chatterjee and blessings of Dr.K.D.S.Bedi-Vice President-Chitkara University, Chandigarh made the inaugural day a memorable beginning. On day-1, the Summit started with a musical item from ace singer Gaurav Bhardwaj.
The children were very keen and showed curiosity while attending the workshop on Calligraphy/Graphology by Amya Madan. The second session of Panel discussion was well conducted by Dr.Yashna Behri Singh-Director-Wonder Bell , Ms. Dimple Mehta-Mindfulness & Character Strength Coach, Professional Mentor and Ms.Riddhi Doshi-Child Psychologist/Internationally certified Parenting Coach/TEDx Speaker/Founder LAJA. Ms. Shivangi Srivastava-PGT English Teacher from New Doon Blossoms, Ms. Sanchita-PGT English-St. Joseph ‘s Academy & Author Komal Sharma were present as Jury of the show. In the concluding session a Talk Show namely “Is Mindfulness and Heart-fullness Inter Connected” was also successfully organized. The Key-Speakers Mr.Sanjay Sehgal-Chairman & CEO-MSYS Technology, Mr.Gagandeep Sidhu-Assistant Vice President Digital Intelligence, Leadership Coach, Mr. Sunny Nagpal-Chief Smile Officer-Early Leadership. Helping Children Bloossom and Ms. Rashmi-Student of Buddhist Psychotherapy and counseling shared their own experiences. Sparsh Jain, Riya Bansal, Yatharth Kunwar, Dipanshu, Akshat, Aashmin, Tavleen Arora, Anika, Lishika, Aaryansh, Mannat, Sifet Bedi, Himani, Saksham, Reet Kaur, Chetan Chawala along with Hundreds of children (mostly from 6 &7th classes) across the world attended this fruitful Summit. Through such international exposure for the kids, they get unique blend of experiential learning. It’s rightly said – Through such summits : Worst can be avoided and Best can be achieved.
