Karanveer Bhatt, 17 year old teen and a student of IB Diploma Program (awarded by International Baccalaureate Organisation Geneva) in Step by Step International School Jaipur possesses multiple talents and exhibits an outspoken personality. He has completed his International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) awarded by Cambridge University London from Windhoek International School, Windhoek (Namibia) during 2011-13 where he got an opportunity to interact with students from more than 35 countries which helped him in developing better understanding of various cultures of the world. Prior to this he has been a student of GD Goenka World School Gurgaon.
He has participated in various Debate Competitions and won prizes. He is the president of Debate Club of his School since last year. Karanveer also took part in a talk show organised by NDTV and aired on national media in 2013 where he spoke freely on the participation of youth in national issues. He was selected by the school to represent them in Jaipur Literature Festival (LITFEST) last year where he got opportunity to interact with who’s who of the literary and scientific world.
Karanveer is a very kind hearted boy and believes in growth of humankind together. He loves helping his colleagues in need and is a trained Peer Counsellor. He has associated himself to one of the NGO named Surman Sansthan based in Jaipur which strives to provide quality shelter and education to the orphans. He spends quality time with these children occasionally whenever he can steal time from his study schedule. The cheer at the faces of the children at Surman Sansthan when they see Karanveer speaks volumes about his selfless affection to these children.
Karanveer is also associated with another NGO named People’s Voice as State President, Rajasthan Youth Wing,which is doing yeomen service in educating people about their civil rights and responsibilities as citizens.
Apart from his studies he utilized his vacations in 2013 to gain work experience in one of the reputed firm in Namibia called NAMIB HYDROSEARCH where he took keen interest in understanding the business model of a Hydrologist Company. He also worked in a superstore management office called WOOLWORTH in Windhoek to understand the supply chain management of a super store during vacations of 2012.
