The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka in association with Spic Macay, organized a mesmerizing Bharatnatyam Dance Performance-cum-Lecture by Ms. Rama Vaidyanathan, a renowned Bharatnatyam Dancer, on December 03, 2013 in the school premise. Ms. Rama Vaidyanathan is a leading exponent of Bharatanatyam dance form and has earned national as well as international acclaim for her magnificent dance performances. By her scintillating stage presence and with her intense, sensitive and graceful Bharatanatyam presentation she enthralled everyone present on this occasion. She also taught different Mudras which are used in this dance form and explained their meanings and usage. Teachers and students from various schools of Dwarka witnessed and enjoyed the charismatic performance of Ms. Rama Vaidyanathan. It is doubtless to say that such events enhance the knowledge of students. Students were enthusiastic to know more and more about Bharatanatyam and showed interest in learning this dance form.
