Indian Stainless Steel Development Association (ISSDA) , the apex body of stainless steel producers in the country has bestowed the esteemed honor to Mr Yatinder Pal Singh (YPS) Suri titled “Outstanding Contribution in Promoting Sustainable Characteristics of Stainless Steel.” For his contribution and dedication for promoting stainless steel as sustainable as green and sustainable material.
In the vast expanse of stainless steel’s evolution, Mr. YPS Suri’s luminescent trajectory stands as a testament to his commitment to sustainable practices. His dedication has not only illuminated a path but has set a blazing trail for others to follow, encapsulating the very essence of the stainless-steel industry’s future.
“Stainless steel, often regarded as a green metal, aligns with India’s sustainability goals, helping to reduce environmental impact and promote eco-friendly infrastructure development. Stainless steel also has the potential to serve as a catalyst in realizing India’s target of a $5 trillion economy. By supporting sustainable infrastructure investments and technological advancements, stainless steel enables the construction of resilient and long -lasting structures, fostering economic growth and attracting investments.” Said Mr Yatinder Pal Singh Suri who is co-chair of CII National Corrosion Management Committee on a National Mission on War Against Corrosion. He is former MD of Outokumpu India.
