No Examination to be postponed because of Corona

Going by several decisions of Supreme Court in matter related to postponement of examinations, it can be safely concluded that Apex Court is not in mood to give any relaxation in this matter on the basis of Corona.

Deciding a similar matter of postponement of competitive examination of Block Education officer conducted by Uttar Pradesh PCS, selection body the Court refused to give stay on conduct of examination.

Appearing for UPPCS, Shirish Mishra, Advocate Ajay Kummar and Deepika Mishra, convinced the three member bench of Justice L Nageshwar Rao, Hemant Gupta & S Ravinder Bhatt, that the selection body is fully geared up to safely conduct the examination while adhering to guidelines of safety and security, as per the guidelines of ICMR.

The court rejected the petition of candidates who sought postponement of examination on the grounds of Corona. Approx five lakhs candidates are appearing for this post.
