MCD OPENS CONTROL ROOM IN VIEW OF MONSOON

Now, we can call on 1266 or 25321235, 25322818 round the clock on all the day of the week. Phone no. 1266 belongs to MCD Control Room, Head office and the two other numbers to MCD Najafgarh zone. We will be given complaint number for follow-up.
Complaint for uprooted trees, water innunadation, open mainholes, sanitation, repairing of pit holes, dangerous buildings, removal of dead animals.
 
 
UNNECESSARY RACE FOR NAMING THE CROSSINGS

Till few days ago, the intersection on the road dividing sector 5 and 6 was known as Kaveri Chow and DTC bus stand on this road as Kaveri stand but few days ago, a new board has come up renaming this chowk as Shakti Chowk on the name of Shakti apartments on one side of it.

Likewise, well-known KM Chowk at deviding sector 11/12 and Lovely Chowk between sector 4/5, two new boards have come up again renaming them as Cosy Chowk and Patel Chowk. Many names of a spot only confuse the resident and particularly the outsiders.

Once a spot is named, residents or office bearers of the CGHS should refrain from renaming them for the convenience of all.
 
 
 
YOUTH SUSTAIN INJURIES FIGHTING SNATCHERS
Shri Vinod Sharma, resident of Radhika Apartment, Sector 13, Dwarka sustained injuries while confronting the three-chain snatchers on the Monday night in a attempt to save his chain. Police has admitted him a Deen Dayal Upadhayay Hospital. Dwarka Forum demands for the arrest of the snatchers while appreciating the courage shown by him. If demanded by Vinod Sharma or his family, he should be given best treatment at the govt. expense.
