‘Pathey’: an Enlightening Medium for Facilitating the Journey of Life

NKBPS celebrated its 17th Annual Day on 24th November, 2018 in the school premises with fervor, festivity, felicitation and feast.
The ambience accentuated by the mind-blowing lighting and sound was a visual treat to the audience who were enthralled and spellbound.The program was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme wondrously.

Mr. Sanjay Goel, IAS, the Director of Education, had kindly consented to be our Chief Guest for the event. Unfortunately, due to inadvertent circumstances he could not grace the occasion. Mrs. Bimla Kumari, Deputy Director of Education, District South West B and Dr. S.K. Garg, Principal, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, University of Delhi,were the Guests of Honor on the occasion. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Mr. Satpal, the Principal of a government school, our revered Chairperson, Smt. Pushpa Devi Bagrodiaji and Mr. Raghav Bagrodia, our venerated trustees Shri K. K. Dhanuka and Shri Dinesh Kumar Gupta; the most respected Director Dr. S. K. Bhattacharya and other distinguished members of the N. K. Bagrodia School Managing Committee. It was also attended by Mrs. Neeta Arora, Principal of Sri Venkateswar International School, ShriPrashantParashar, Principal of N.K.Bagrodia Public School, Rohini and Smt. Jayashree Nawani, Vice Principal of N.K.Bagrodia Global School. Director Dr. S. K. Bhattacharya, a seasoned scholar, a man of wit and an unforgettable aura, our beacon of inspiration, gave the welcome address.

The evening commenced with a scintillating invocation of Ganesh Vandana followed by prayer dance (SaraswatiSahasrnam) by our tiny tots of pre-school, pre-primary and primary students.The school orchestra showcased the musical prowess of the young Bagrodians.

The Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Rajee N. Kumar, presented the annual report which was followed by the prize distribution ceremonyto laud and felicitate the commendable performance of meritorious students in both academics and co-curricular activities during the session 2017-18.

The 17th edition of the school magazine, ‘Oasis’ an emblem, a reflection of the spirit of our organization, was released by the Chairperson, the dignitaries and all members of the school managing committee. The theme of the magazine ‘Heroism of the Modern Era’, seeks to give due regard and respect to those sung and unsung heroes who have brought about radical changes in our forever – transient society.
This release was followed by the musical dance drama ‘Pathey’

The theme of ‘Pathey’ showcased in the form of a musical odyssey depicted the various mediums which are essential in the journey of one’s life leading one towards the righteous path. Through this quintessential dance drama, the aim was to highlight how God Almighty has the power to resolve all our conflicts and guide us on the righteous path, how not only education, but also our parents and teachers being our benefactors play an essential role in unleashing the latent potential within us, making us the truest version of ourselves, the greatest showmen of the theatre of life.

The audience was mesmerized by this fantastic presentation. The spectacular evening came to a close with vote of thanks by Mr. P. Kumar who lauded the efforts of the Principal, teachers, staff and students. Everyone rose up for the National Anthem.
