Sunday, March 23, 2025 | New Delhi – Senior journalist and author Prof. S.S. Dogra was honored with the ‘Indian Author Award 2025’ at a grand ceremony organized by Rahi Publication. In the presence of Chief Guest Dr.Sandeep Marwah-Chancellor AAFT University along with Rus Acharya-Indonesian Author, Social Actist Inderjeet Sharma, Bharti Taneja, Shikha Sharma, Organizer Sushil Bharti, Dr.Mamta Soni & Dr.Amit Kaur Puri.This prestigious award was conferred upon him in recognition of the international success of his fourth book, “Rendezvous (In and Off the Fields).” The book is a compilation of 75 interviews conducted by Prof. Dogra with distinguished personalities from various fields across different countries.
Prof. Dogra’s Global Recognition
Actively engaged in journalism and writing for over three decades, Prof. Dogra has authored six books—three in English, two in Hindi, and one in Russian. His first book, “Media Can Do Wonders in Students’ Life,” was recommended by former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, in three universities. This book became a bestseller in several European countries and continues to sell for $20 internationally.
Unparalleled Contribution to Media & Education
Prof. Dogra has conducted over 326 media workshops across India and Nepal. He is the Delhi Bureau Chief of the Hindi monthly magazine “Himalini,” published from Kathmandu, Nepal. Additionally, he is an active member of ‘The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia’.

The prestigious award was presented at a grand event held at V.K. Krishna Menon Bhawan Auditorium, New Delhi. Several distinguished personalities from India and abroad attended the ceremony.
