Dear Shri Dogra/ Sanjay Ji,
I & my wife send our heartfelt thanks to both of you, for your gracious gesture when, we visited Ramlila.
We are also grateful to Shri Rajesh Gehlot Ji & his energetic Team for giving both of us the honour & privilege to come on the stage & giving us very nice Bhagwan RAM`s framed picture, lovely malas & the stoles.
It was indeed a treat to watch for some time, Ramlila being enacted on a mammoth tastefully designed stage!
Indeed an annual boon for all Dwarkaites!
&
warm greetings!

The Ram Leela celebrations concluded on 04 October after a week of festivities. The entire function was a resounding success. The organizers and volunteers under the astute leadership and able guidance of Shri Rajesh Gehlot, MLA left no stone unturned in ensuring smooth and trouble free proceedings throughout the nine days that the festival lasted.
I would like to congratulate all those responsible for a wonderful achievement. While the dances and dramas staged were gripping and well enacted / choreographed, I express my special appreciation on the manner in which the whole event was managed. One estimate puts the strength of the audience on 03 Oct (the day of Ravan Dahan) as seventy five thousand! On other days, around thirty to forty thousand people thronged the venue to be a part of this mega event.
The fact that the festivities went off without a hitch and without any untoward incident despite such large turnout is testimony to the organizational skills and abilities of the Organizing Committee. Security arrangements were perfect, crowd management even more so. Emergency procedures had been outlined and all were familiar with the same. I do not know whether any mock drills were conducted to train the officials but everything appeared to be managed with thorough professionalism. Public conveniences were made available, as also first aid measures, public address systems and a huge number of CCTVs.
One small observation: on 4 October, it took more than an hour for the vehicles to move out of the parking area. The authorities may like to explore the possibility of making the area vehicle free during these nine days from next year onwards, somewhat like Raahgiri in Connaught Place. People could be advised to park their cars on the main roads adjoining Metro 11 station and Gregorios School, or grounds nearby could be identified for the purpose. This would avoid the tremendous traffic jams witnessed this year.
All said and done, hearty congratulations once again to the Organizing Committee.
