Four students and two teachers of R.D. Rajpal School got the opportunity to meet honorable Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitely on occasion of Raksha Bandhan. They were thrilled on meeting him in person. The girls tied the sacred thread of Rakhi and were spellbound by his simplicity. The students discussed with him about various issues like impact of downfall of China’s economy on our Indian economy. He interacted with the children and his humility impressed everyone. The students presented poems and speeches on the topics like My India-My Pride, Save Girl Child, Today’s Prime Concern—Our Environment etc. This meeting will have an indelible impression on the young minds and they will cherish it for the times to come.
