The meeting ‘T’ point of Ullanbataar Marg with NH-8 has become a bottleneck for traffic moving towards Subroto Park. Apparently credit goes to metro pillar number 240.
It has been observed that there is some space to the left of pillar (refer photograph). If this space could be operationalize it can take the load of traffic which pillar is obstructing. If a car lane can be carved out here it, in my view, is likely to ease the situation caused by this obstructing pillar. Even if two-wheeler use this extra space partial load will be catered to.
It would be prudent to utilize this valuable road space, therefore, I request that a survey of the space be made on priority & efforts be made to activate this idle space.
