It is our endeavour at The Indian Heights School to prepare our students to become global citizens. The school provides international exposure and adequate platform to students by organizing International Exchange Programs, and as a part of our International Exchange Program, a delegation comprising of 13 students and 2 teachers from College Bory de Saint Vincent, from La Reunion, France visited The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka from April 2, 2017 to April 13, 2017.
A Plethora of activities were organized wherein teachers as well as students of both the schools got an opportunity to acquaint themselves with each other’s cultures, best practices and teaching methodologies. In order to give them a true glimpse of our rich and diverse culture a ‘Gramin Sandhaya’ and a ‘Heritage Tour’ was organized and they visited to the various historical sites e.g. Lotus Temple, Red Fort, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Jantar Mantar & Old Delhi. The highlight of the tour was a visit to Agra and they were spellbound and mesmerized to see the beautiful Taj Mahal. A scintillating cultural program was organized to bid them a goodbye wherein the guest students also enthralled one and all with their Sega Dance performance. Their beautiful island was shown in the form of a power point presentation which mesmerized everyone with its natural beauty. An introduction in Hindi followed by a song presentation which the guest students had learned during their stay at the school was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Presentation of Mementos marked the culmination of Exchange program. This Exchange Program was a good learning experience for the teachers as well as for the students. We look forward to have more such Exchange Programs in the future.
