The Investiture Ceremony of N K Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka held


The Investiture Ceremony of N K Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka was held recently wherein the Student Council of 2015-16 was vested with duties and responsibilities which they pledged to uphold with honesty and integrity.

The Investiture Ceremony is definitely one of the most awaited events of the school and also a defining moment in a student’s life. It is that solemn occasion when we, as a school, respect and acknowledge the upcoming leaders and repose our trust in them.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and invocation to the supreme power to dispel darkness and bestow His blessings. Thereafter the Chief Guest Mr R A Sanjeev IPS, DCP South west District Delhi Police, Guest of Honour Mr Anand Prakash A C P, South west District Delhi Police, and other dignitaries including Dr S K Bhattacharya Director of the school, Shri Kishan Kumar Dhanuka ji, Founder Trustee Member of N. K Bagrodia Educational Society, and Shri Dinesh Kumar Gupta ji, Trustee Member of N. K Bagrodia Educational Society were accorded floral welcome by Principal of the institution Dr. (Mrs). Rajee N. Kumar.

The atmosphere reverberated with pride and enthusiasm as the school choir sang the song Hum Honge Kamiyaab inspiring the young leaders to accept the challenges that would come their way of discharging their duties and responsibilities as members of the coveted school council.

Thereafter the formal induction ceremony of the cabinet members began whereupon the Head Boy of the school, Mritunjay Sharma and Head Girl Apoorva Dhavan marched smartly to receive their badges and sashays from the esteemed guests , Mr R A Sanjeev IPS, Mr Anand Prakash A C P, Dr S K Bhattacharya Director ,Shri K. K. Dhanuka Ji, Shri Dinesh Kumar Gupta ji and Principal. The Head Boy then called upon the Junior Head Boy, Junior Head Girl, the Sports Captain, the Captains and Vice Captains of the four Houses and the members of the Editorial Board to receive their badges. The Class Prefects then marched elegantly and received their badges.

The School Head Girl administered the school pledge to the newly elected cabinet members. It is pertinent to mention here that a formal democratic process of election was conducted to elect the Captains and Vice Captains of the four Houses. From canvassing to the use of secret ballot, students of classes VI to XII had hands on experience of a formal election procedure. The day’s proceedings concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
