Umang 2013 celebrated at JMIS

An exciting day dedicated to the spirit and celebration of tiny tots and appropriately named as umang , fully devoted to enhance and bring out the best in the students on the emotional moment marking the graduation of the pallav students. The day was fun filled implying the happiness and enthusiasm of all the kids and parents alike. On the auspicious occasion of umang celebrated in the school grounds of JMIS school on the 16th March , 2013.

Umang commences with the lighting of the lamp by the esteemed chief guest with the Principal, Chairman and Director followed by a breathtaking Saraswati Vandana song and dance performance by well trained students in classical dance and remembering the Goddess Saraswati for her divine powers. The audience was seen enjoying the orchestra medley, it was a very big achievement to get such tiny tots to sing so melodiously with rhythm .On this coveted occasion, Principal shared her vision and dreams to see JMIS touching the sky soon, very soon. Then came a musical choir group, a short yet motivating song sung by all that brought a smile on everybody’s face . Next was an eye opening multimedia presentation. After a short while, the stage with budding future talents performed spectacular  medley , display of the feeling of unity in diversity , celebrating the cross cultural values and the spirit of oneness, their true joy of participating and feeling the pride to be a part of such big event was truly reflected in the way they were performing , it was a picture perfect moment .

A very well planned play depicting the need of peace and love was portrayed through the kids, leaving a strong impact and message on everyone. An incredible work by the students and dance incharge Ms. Sankari made it undoubtedly a show stealer, everybody looked forward to more of it. An incredible theatre show, depicting the life stages of lord Krishna , his qualities and unique traits were introduced to all the students through this play inculcating in them a love for spiritual aspects of life. The day ended with a very happy note with the applauding words by the chief guest and rightly recognizing the undying support and efforts put in by the teachers and the right approach being followed by the school.
