Urivi Vikram Charitable Trust celebrated 20th Foundation Day


The Urivi Vikram Charitable Trust—a NGO, working towards the adolescent and women issues celebrated the 20th Foundation Day in the national capital here.

MLA Mukesh Sharma , CLP spokes person, and parliamentary Secretary to Chief Minister Delhi govt. was the chief guest on the occasion and he inaugurated the inaugural session. 

Lauding the working of the NGO for the last two decades, the MLA congratulated the UVCT chairman Dr U N B Rao, former Commissioner of Delhi Police for being honest and dedication towards the society especially the children and women.

“We will try to help the children enrolled in different courses of UVCT,” the Chief Guest assured and appealed the gathering to approach him personally if, have any grievances. 

The MLA also assured support to students in education. He however, also thanked and appreciated the UVCT CEO Ms Manorama Bakshi for her positive and constructive working towards the society.  Mr Sharma later distributed certificates among the students participated in the cultural events. A grand cultural program was organized by the students of the Tagore garden and Ramesh nagar centres.

Earlier, Mr. Kapil Chopra, the vice-chairperson of the Trust while welcoming the guests said that the trust is functioning in six centers in Delhi and 5 states namely Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra besides in USA. Mrs Bakshi spoke about future plans of the trust and assured that the Trust would work for the society with zeal and dedication. Treasurer UVCT, Mr Negi said that the trust will raise its infrastructure by adding more computers in Ramesh Nagar and Tagore Garden Branches for the students.
