Ramjas Foundation , on the occasion of their centenary celebrations hosted 17th Ramjas Basketball Champions League 2011 at Ramjas School, R.K.Puram. The week long tournament ended on 9th September 2011.
The closing ceremony began with the Centenary Song composed by Ramjas School, R.K.Puram . The Principal, Mrs.Rachna Pant welcomed the guests. The Chief Guest Dronacharya Sri. Satpal Singh, Additional Director of Education and Sports, Delhi Administration, encouraged the students with his inspiring speech and gave away the trophies to the winning teams – Senior boys- DPS, Mathura Road, Senior Girls – Mount Fort School , Junior boys – Mount Fort School .The Guest of Honour, Mr.P.C Kashyap , Director , Sports Authority of India and Mrs. Barkha Singh, MLA, R.K.Puram gave away the prizes to the outstanding players.
The programme was graced by the Honorable members of the Ramjas Foundation. The closing ceremony also included an orchestra performance , lively dance and patriotic song. The tournament which had 104 schools participating from Delhi and NCR was a great success.
