350th SHAHEEDI PURAB OF GURU TEG BAHADUR JI WAS OBSERVED WITH IMMENSE DEVOTION

This year marks the 350th Maryrdom Anniversary Shaheedi Purab of Sahib Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.
Guru ji is revered for his unparalleled sacrifice and steadfast stand for religious freedom, a martyr, who bravely opposed tyranny and defended every individual’s right to follow the faith of their choice. Guru ji’s ultimate sacrifice ie remembered by saying “Hind Di Chadar,” the depiction of Guruji being ‘a guardian of religious freedom’.

Guru ji contributed 116 Hymns to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, focusing on Humility, Detachment, and the importance of Inner Peace. These Hymns continue to guide the humanity.

In Dwarka Sub City, the Shaheedi Purab was observed on 25th November 2025 with great devotion, which witnessed overwhelming participation of devotees.

On this auspicious occasion, ‘Akhand Path Saheb’ was started on 23rd November and continuous recitation was completed on 25th November, 2025 Morning.

A VISHESH KIRTAN SAMMAGAM (Special Gurbani Recital) was organised by Sri Guru Singh Sabha (Regd), Dwarka at Gurdwara Sahib, Sector-11, Dwarka, New Delhi on Tuesday, 25th November 2025, where Gurbani Kirtan was performed by ‘Bhai Gurwinder Singh ji Anandpuri’, Hazoori Ragi, Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Amritsar, Punjab; ‘Bhai Jatinder Singh ji’, Hazoori Ragi, Gurdwara Sahib, Dwarka and Gurbani Vichar by Bhai Gianinder Singh Ji, Head Granthi, Gurdwara Sahib, Dwarka.

Guru Ji’s blessings continue to inspire people across communities to uphold the values of justice, equality and harmony.
