Gurugram May 27, 2019 The Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA), Gurugram has received 4785 registered complaints from aggrieved buyers against various registered real estate developers in millennium city Gurugram and has disposed of 2718, about 60 per cent of them till date .
“Most of the complaints registered are related to delay in projects and refund of money from the builders . Currently 410 real estate ongoing projects and 1900 Real estate agents are registered with HRERA in Gurugram “ said Dr K K Khandelwal, Chairman, Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA), Gurugram while speaking at the M B M Engineering College, Jodhpur Alumni Association meet held at Hotel Crown Plaza in Gurugram late last evening. Dr Khandelwal is Alumni of the same college.
“HRERA has also imposed heavy financial penalties on various developers for delay in projects. But the reason for delay in various projects is not always due to fault of the developer, it is the concerned government authorities which are equally responsible for the delay as they take their own time to issue sanctions related to the project. The government officers and establishments should also be made answerable for delay in projects” said Dr Khandelwal.
“About 300 Alumni of M B M Engineering college , Jodhpur from Gurugram, Delhi and Noida participated in the Alumni meet . The major highlight of the meet was honouring of Mr M M Aggarwal, the 1954 pass out batch by Ms Chander Kanta of 2019 pass out batch. The college has completed 69 years “ said M L Mohatta, Convenor of the Alumni meet.
The some of Alumni of the college include Mr K K Kapila, chairman, International Road Federation , A Geneva based global body working for better and safer roads world wide and Sunil Kulkarni , Joint Managing Director of Gurugram based financial tech company Oxigen.
