Social Jurist has opened All India Helpline for facilitating admission of children belonging to Disadvantaged Group and Economically Weaker Sections at entry level class in Unaided Recognized Private Schools in the academic year 2012-13 under 25% quota in terms of Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009. Unaided Schools in most of the States and Union Territories have not at all implemented this provision of RTE Act, 2009 and unfortunately, the respective governments have not taken any action against the erring schools. It seems that the governments are not interested in implementing this provision though they are duty bound to implement the same. It is needless to say that the RTE Act, 2009 has come into force from April 01, 2010.
It is strongly felt that the Social Activists, NGOs, Civil Society Bodies, Parents Bodies, Professions including lawyers etc have a role in getting this provision implemented. As lawyers associated with the Social Jurist have Delhi Experience in regards to EWS admissions in unaided schools on public lands since 2004-05 and onwards, they are willing to share their experiences with rest of the people and to help them to get the RTE Act provision implemented with full force. Any person from any part of the country can take totally free legal assistance through Helpline Nos. 9868529459, 8826456565 between 10 am and 5 pm on all days except Sundays.
