Hum Kishore festival’s 3rd day saw a whopping 17 schools participating in the various colorful folk dances of Rajasthan, Assam, Ladakh, Tamil Nadu and Punjab. The CCRT auditorium witnessed a “Mini India” with student attired in colorful costumes. It sure had the air charged with energy and pace of the dancers. The judges short listed 4 schools for the “Grand Finale”. A huge round of applause was given to all the participating schools. The team spirit and synchronization was commendable.
The skit and the drama was an eye opener. Oh Boy! I sure feel proud of my ‘Hindustan’ ‘Mera Desh Mahan .The Gen Next’is a promising lot. We have such talented budding actors. India is a great country with such fine, talented young students. Bal Bharti Public School, Don Bosco Ashalayam, Vishal Bharti Public school, Carmel Convent, Queen’s Valley school, Saraswati Model School were a few among the many schools that participated today.
“Geet Mala” had more than 12 teams which participated. The students had chosen highly motivational songs. The patriotic songs highlighted the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers whose sacrifice and hard work help us to live peacefully. The countdown for the “Grand Finale” has begun. The “Grand Finale” of the 3rd Hum Kishore festival is going to be a not-to-miss event!
