Dwarka International School celebrated Junior Annual Day 2017 with gusto and enthusiasm on Thursday, 23rd February, 2017 in the school premises. Ms. Harjeet Kaur, DDE, Physical Education, Directorate of Education, Chatrasal Stadium, Model Town, Delhi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event kick started with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony followed by the school annual report which was read out by the Principal Ms. Poonam Jha. The commencement of the dance drama, ‘Incredible India’ celebrating the rich, varied and diverse culture of India followed next. Students depicted the theme with splendid articulation, power packed performances and scintillating dance sequences. The Chairman Shri Virendra Kumar appreciated the tireless efforts of the students. Ms. Sangeeta Choudhury, the Vice-Chairperson was elated at the performance of the students and congratulated everyone for their contribution towards making this event a mega success. The Chief Guest Ms. Harjeet Kaur acknowledged and appreciated the co-ordination, discipline and team work of everyone associated. The Principal Ms. Poonam Jha expressed her gratitude to one and all and specifically urged the students as well as the teachers to strive for the best. The curtain fell with the vote of thanks rendered by the Vice Chairman Mr. Sandeep who thanked everyone for their presence and unstinted support.
