Lucknow, October 9, 2026: Hon’ble Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel formally released Jindagi Ke Behtareen Rang (The Finest Colours of Life), the fourth book by author Krishna Kumar, at Jan Bhavan in Lucknow on Friday. The occasion was attended by the book’s proof-reader, Chandra Bhushan Tiwari and Prof. S. S. Dogra, senior journalist, author and media educator.
During the book launch, a healthy discussion was held on literature, creative writing and the diverse experiences of life. The significance of creative expression, literary interests and the role of books in communicating life experiences and ideas to readers was also highlighted.
On the occasion, author Krishna Kumar presented an Ashoka sapling to Governor Anandiben Patel under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (One Tree in the Name of Mother) campaign. The gesture conveyed a message of environmental protection and awareness about tree plantation. Presenting a sapling alongside the book launch beautifully underscored the connection between literary pursuits and responsibility towards nature.
Governor Anandiben Patel also presented her book, “Woh Mujhe Hamesha Yaad Rahenge” (They Will Always Remain in My Memory), to Krishna Kumar as a token of affection. The exchange of books highlighted the enduring tradition of sharing ideas, experiences and perspectives through literature.
“Jindagi Ke Behtareen Rang” is the fourth book by author Krishna Kumar. Based on diverse life experiences and reflections, the publication marks an important milestone in his literary journey. The occasion provided an opportunity to further meaningful dialogue on literature, life values and environmental conservation.
