The students staged four plays in an evening dubbed as Dionysia the Drama Fest in the National Law University Delhi, Sector 14, Dwarka Auditorium. Justice Gita Mittal of the Delhi High Court was the chief guest, and a number of literary figures including Dr. Ashok Luv and Mr. P.B. Mishra also graced the event. Dr. Ranbir Singh, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to come up with more such programmes.
The themes revolved around the questions of justice, society and law. Dr. Prasannanshu who teaches English at NLUD and who was the organizer of the event says that literature cannot be read, it has to be lived and according to him the event was just an application of this principle. He said that greatest achievement was that all that students of the first year took part in the event in one role or the other.
The evening melted into the night brimming with humour, music, and endeavouring to deliver an important message to the legal fraternity amidst great joy and fervour.
