A delegation of residents of Sector-8 Dwarka led by Shri Arvinder Singh Chhatwal Secretary, Residents Welfare Association (Regd.) had a meeting with Shri R.P. Meena, Traffic Inspector (Dwarka) on 18th February 2016.
The residents raised several traffic related issues of Sector-8 Dwarka in the meeting particularly requirement of traffic signal at the entry point of Sector-8 opposite Millennium Apartments in place of existing blinker, traffic Jam problem being faced by area residents due to Parking of school vehicles / visitors mainly during school hours, Rash driving by Gramin Seva vehicles, branches of trees which obstruct the traffic Signals / Street lights causing accidents and need of speed breakers in the area to restrict the speed of the vehicles.
Shri. A.S. Chhatwal handed over a letter regarding the points raised. After detailed discussions, Shri Meena (TI) took a note of all the points, visited the affected sites with area residents and ensures suitable action by traffic police on priority.
