ANHLGT organized medical camp in Dwarka

ANHLGT organized medical camp with the help of Rajeev Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre on 18th July in Dwarka. The Doctor’s team did free cancer screening for ladies and gave lecture on prevention and awareness of cancer. Dr. Indu Aggarwal Sr. Medical Officer, preventive oncologist spoke about different kind of cancers. Cervical cancer is common among ladies & that starts from the lower narrow end of the uterus. It is very important to detect it at the early stage by PAP test which must be done from the age of 21 years. 

Doctor Indu Aggarwal has explained about Breast Cancer and encouraged the ladies for breast self examination. If detected early almost complete cure is possible. After the talk she started screening and PAP test. Around 60 ladies were benefited with tests. As the test was going on one by one, for the waiting ladies Mrs. Asha Wasney (organizing secretary) and Neeru Gupta (join secretary) organized Tambola & Singing programme which followed by refreshment. Mrs. Cicly Kodiyan President ANHLGT thanked the Doctor’s team and the ladies who attended the medical camp.
